The stretch is not long, it is only a few meters to cross you on the other side. But the heavy rainfall led to higher water levels and the strong currents in the Longvodnetnet River emptied, and all three were swept away at speed.
After a few meters, the water flows over a dam and exits as a 15 meter waterfall. The river then bends into wild and steep terrain, including several waterfalls.

Wensey and her husband, Hans Thorswick, have owned a room in Guamskjn for 40 years. However, as the currents towards the valley were high, the couple no longer dared to cross the water near the estuary.
– We have realized that electricity is good. Even though the water is less than it is now. So we’re fine inside, Hans says we dare not go here and point out the place that many people use to cross the river. A rope is attached on both sides across the river at the point of contact.
– It only takes a few minutes, the rope goes there. But yesterday it was completely crazy. This is a shortcut, long distance to walk around it. This is absolutely awful, says Wensey.
The two were shocked to hear what happened Sunday night, and are worried that the missing are celebrities in the cottage area.
