Change rooms if you are not satisfied.
Perhaps you prefer rooms with a view of the sea, mountains, city or park, and preferably not with a view of the backyard.
So, you should check a bit in advance, and Sin On arrival, where are the best rooms.
Then just ask to have one of these when booking – or at check-in.
Instead, politely ask for a change if they give you a room other than what you want.
The corner rooms of the hotel are the largest. And always avoid hotel rooms located directly above the nightclub.
This is easier if you go for one early booking in the hotel. Preferably after a rush of check-out after breakfast is done.

Hotels often have more to go by than guests think.

So, directly check the price found at the attraction.
Remember that an extra euro or two can be paid to avoid huge queues eg Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Vatican etc.
But feel free to ask the hotel concierge for tips on things other than the city/place’s most famous “tourist traps”. These are often cheaper/free – and much nicer.
Late check-out time
Why not keep the room as long as possible? Then you can shower after your last round trip into town before heading to the airport. Most hotels can give you many extra hours for free, while others charge 100 notes. It can definitely be worth it.
Get through the trouble!
free upgrade
Remember to book and possibly pay for your hotel stay directly via the hotel’s website.
Do not use third party booking sites. Hotels offer the best rooms for those who book directly, and if you have paid the full amount directly to the hotel, it is much easier to get an upgrade without paying extra for it.
Did you forget something on the plane? do this!
quiet room
Make sure you get rooms that are not directly above the nightclub or right next to the lift. This can be the difference between a good night’s sleep and an insomnia nightmare. If you find out after receiving the room key, go back to the front desk and be polite and ask for a new room.
Additional Tips:
Keep in mind that the hotel has more free toiletries than those in the bathroom inside the room. If you need something extra – such as shaving bags, slippers, sewing boxes, shoe polish boxes, etc.: ask for it at the front desk.
They can also lend you a charging adapter that you forgot to pack with you as well, as you find out that you are not allowed to put your mobile phone charger in the socket.
