– Production company Nordisk Banijay, in consultation with us at TV 2, has reported to the police the protestors who took action during the live broadcast of “Shall We Dance” over the weekend. The protesters stormed the dance floor and put themselves and the participants in a dangerous situation, which we cannot accept.

– Throughout the season, we have been very careful about security, but after this weekend’s incident, we are taking a number of measures to tighten security even more. We do not wish to comment specifically on what these are.

Following the live broadcast, Dagbladet contacted protester Frida Steinbakk.

He said he chose to demonstrate during the event because he believes we are “in a desperate situation and have a government that is not acting in the crisis we are in”.

– We were greeted by some nice guards who took us out, and then they talked to us seriously and let us go, and he said to Dogbladet.
