Large parts of Ukraine have been warned of severe storms, with wind gusts of up to 30 meters per second and blizzards or heavy snowfall, he wrote. Independent Kyiv.

Massive Russian attack

Since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the weather has been a recurring topic of discussion.

Last winter, Russia attacked Ukraine’s power grid and energy infrastructure, among other things. The attacks caused many families in Ukraine to lose power.

On Saturday, Ukraine shot down 74 of 75 Russian attack drones overnight in what it described as the largest drone attack since the beginning of the invasion.

Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk said in a statement that the main target of the attack was Kiev.

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, power was cut off to 77 residential homes and 120 other buildings in central Kiev as a result of the attack, which cut a power line, but later in the day the power was restored.
