– For me, this is an exciting step forward in my career. I almost felt like I was stepping into the ranks of adults, which felt right and a little scary. But I’m really looking forward to it!
A former winner of both the ‘Melodi Grand Prix’ and the ‘Maskorama’, Brandstorp is a finalist in “star game”.
MGP: Ulrikke Brandstorp won the “Melodi Grand Prix” in 2020 with the song “Attention”, but due to the pandemic she was never able to represent Norway at Eurovision.

Last year, the 27-year-old from Sarpsborg played the main role as Sufi At “Mamma Mia” at the Folketeatret in Oslo.
Now Brandstorp is ready for new challenges. This time as the presenter of the NRK series “Bakemesterskapet”.
The largest baking program in the world
The series will be the Norwegian version of “The Great British Bake Off”, the world’s largest baking programme.
In the “Baking Championship”, twelve participants from all over the country will compete to become the best hobby baker in Norway.
The artist admits that baking is not her strong point and hopes to learn a few tricks along the way.
Excited: The artist is really looking forward to being a first-time presenter, but he also thinks he’s a little intimidating.

– By now, I’ve probably made more food than cake. I like to make everything good, but honestly, it doesn’t always turn out that good.
Support player for participants
Brandstorp shall have no relation to the evaluation in the Program.
Two experienced judges with a lot of specialized knowledge will take care of this, said project manager Anders Mehr Nielsen.
– We are very happy to have Ulrike on the team. It adds exactly the energy, mood and enthusiasm we want.
The project manager highlights the value Ulrikke has taken part in a number of programs and competitions herself.
Everything from “Kompani Lauritzen” to “Maskorama” and “MGP”.

– Ulrikke will be the perfect support for the participants in the Baking Championship. She knows how fun it is to win, but also how she feels when things don’t go the way you hoped.
The “Baking Tournament” will be recorded in Bergen before the summer. The series premieres in early 2024.
