On Friday, June 7, Ulrike Brandtorp and Oskar Nordberg said “I do” to each other, in a grand wedding ceremony in Spain.
Now they are married
The loved-up couple have been lovers for over four years and can now call themselves husband and wife.
But perhaps getting into the wedding was not what Brandstorp had hoped for.
Just three days before the big day, her grandfather died. She says this in a post on her Instagram.
“The best grandfather in the world and my biggest fan, or FÆN as he always wrote in letters. My grandfather was a wise man, and he gave me many tools to deal with life and all it has to offer,” she wrote at the beginning.
Se og Hør has been in contact with Brandstorp regarding this issue, and has nothing to add beyond this post.
Moreover, the singer can say that she chose to sing her new song “Om hundre år” at the wedding, to honor her grandfather, who she says was a role model for her.
“My grandfather lived through this moment, and I'm pretty sure he lived with us on our big day, and that he will live with us every day to come.”
In conclusion, Brandstorp wrote:
“Dear Grandpa. I love you! – Your songbird.”
“Infuriatingly humble web fan. Writer. Alcohol geek. Passionate explorer. Evil problem solver. Incurable zombie expert.”
