Scholes rages against Anthony
It was a relaxing night for Manchester United, and Anthony, the new signing from Ajax, also took some time to show off some tricks.
At some point in the first half, he pulled the ball with his left foot and rolled around it for two rounds, before sending the ball over the dead line.
United legend Paul Scholes, who watched the match at BT Sports, was not impressed by what he saw.
– It’s just silliness. It is hypocrisy. What is he thinking? No one is entertained. I think he needs to kick it out of him, says Scholes.
Garnacho first from the start
A name unknown to many in Thursday’s Manchester United squad was Alejandro Garnacho (18).
– He was impressed with the training. That’s why he got the chance, he deserves it. He likes to run behind, he likes to dribble and he likes to finish the ball. “I’m very excited and I hope he can do it tonight,” Eric Ten Hag told MUTV before the match.

In the first half, Lisandro Martinez and Anthony came in favor of Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford.
The latter did not take long to introduce itself. Another substitute, Luke Shaw, crossed from the left, and Marcus Rashford headed in a header to make it 2-0.
Towards the end of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo will finally succeed. Bruno Fernandes was allowed to stand up and shoot for several seconds, then found the head of his compatriot, who placed third for United.
