On April 16, Indiana State Police launched a murder investigation after a mushroom picker found a suitcase in the woods.
Inside the bag lay a dead child.
About 7:30 p.m. Saturday, while picking mushrooms, a local resident found the body of an African-American boy near a road in the woods, east of Washington County, Indiana. Residents immediately called 911, He wrote to the police the day after the discovery.
