Brøndby recently sold midfielder Morten Frendrup to Italian Genoa for over 30 million kroner. Tobias Børkeeiet was also sold to Rosenborg earlier this month.
The Vikings are said to have held negotiations with an unnamed club during Monday, something Aftenbladet can report. The online newspaper can reveal that the club in question is the Danish league champion.
It remains unclear whether the transfer will be too close to the transfer deadline, but Bale has previously been clear that he might want to continue his career elsewhere after the 2021 season.
