In BT 5. In October, Ingebjorn Bledvin, who has delighted me and others many times about the diversity of life in Norway, tells me that he is “awake at night” in pure damnation for the actions of Erna Solberg and Annigan Hudfeldt.
It’s a pity He’s been slow to criticize leading politicians – after all, in the last decade we’ve only seen so many reports that leading politicians – not their spouses – have been involved in outright financial fraud. Others have lost their posts for breaking the rules.
In the latter category, the head of the Storting (the head of the Storting is the second most important office in the country after the king), the deputy head of the Ap and the party leader of the KrF!
When it comes Anniken Hudfeldt and Erna Solberg, through their efforts in politics, have done so much good that I think the Norwegian people can treat them with forgiveness – even if their spouses don’t.
We have very difficult times ahead of us and we need you both there.
