Kim Kardashian West is in mourning after star designer Virgil Abloh, 41, passed away after a long illness.
“God makes no mistakes. I know, but I still can’t help but ask why. Why Virgil?! Why is he so early? It’s simply hard to understand why,” Kim Kardashian West wrote on Instagram on Monday night.
Sunday night became known Abloh, best known as the founder of the Off-White brand and chief designer of Louis Vuitton’s men’s division, has died at the age of 41.

Now Kardashian West has also taken to Instagram, to express her grief over the death.
“This is hard to digest. I can’t even believe I’m writing this… We will miss you so much Virgil and love you so much” she writes with a picture of the two of them together.
She also uses the Instagram post to honor the late designer.

Abloh’s death was announced on his Instagram on Sunday. According to an Instagram post, Abloh must have had a rare form of cancer. The star stylist is said to have been diagnosed two years ago, but chose to hide it from the outside world.
Ablohs leaves behind a wife and two children. Kardashian West wrote that she sends a lot of love to his wife, and that Abloh’s legacy will continue to live on through her and their children.
