A few days ago, Yr.no predicted a total of 17 degrees in the capital next Monday. On Sunday, this number was reduced to 13.

– There may now be a small bug in how temperature is set in Yr.no. It shows a slightly higher temperature, says Pernille Borander, meteorologist on duty, and says the fault should be followed.

On Friday, the weather forecast showed a full 20 degrees in Oslo, but this also seems to be wrong.

– We should probably take the 16-20 degrees higher temperature with a pinch of salt. We may have to settle for double digit numbers in Oslo. At least it will be 11 degrees. A high of 13 with some sunshine is a good chance, says the weatherman.

Changing weather

Unfortunately, there's nothing else to support temperatures above 20 degrees and we're headed for milder weather for the rest of the week.

Borander explains that very moist air from the south means lots of clouds here.

In other words, an alternate weather forecast for showers and stays for the coming week. West Norway gets the most rain. Southern Norway, Eastern Norway and Trøndelag have the best chances of sun between showers.

In general, temperatures in southern Norway are mostly between 12-15 degrees. As of right now, it looks like temperatures will drop slightly on Wednesday, but they will rise again by the end of the week.

Danger from storm water

In the north of the country, moderate winds are expected, and Borander urges people to be prepared for a transition to moderate weather and rain in view of snowmelt and stormwater.

Mild weather has already arrived in some places.

– It gets a little extra wet in Helgeland. 40 to 50 millimeters of rain may fall in some places from Sunday to Monday, meteorologists write in the news at X.

Northerners can still be happy that minus degrees are getting out this time. The last day in Troms to record minus degrees throughout the day is Sunday, but the last day in Finnmark is Monday.

– Definitely a sign of spring

– But are there chances of more snow in some places?

– No, next week doesn't look like that. Next week there is a definite chance of northerly winds again in northern Norway and Trøndelag. Borander says snow could come soon after.

The week will also be cooler in the south, but that won't mean much snow.

– At least there won't be anyone Big No snow in the north and south for the next ten days. We can take it as a sure sign of spring.
