harsh confrontation
-The surnames being discussed have no meaning because I have not worked and have not served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In the same way that I was not a State Duma deputy or a member of any party. My profession is sports, Isinbayeva wrote.
After his active career, the Russian athlete sat on the IOC Athletes’ Committee. Isinbayeva was voted out after she resigned in 2016, and most recently she was also the head of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (Rusada), which was banned from the World Anti-Doping Agency in both 2015 and 2019.
Russia responds
The rare statement prompted the Russian site Championat to respond. in Comment written by Mikail Chesalin it’s called:
– She posted an appeal on her social media, where she described her biography and life principles. Principles, Chesalin writes, are not at all what many in our country expected.
Share the happy news
In the post, Isinbayeva wrote that she was a native of the world, and that she “cooperates with people whom she values and respects.”
– It sounds rude, but the essence is simple: Isinbayeva seems to have left Russia. It is very insulting, because in our country she was really loved. However, as might be expected, the sanctions led to a predictable split, Chesalin writes.
– Featured on Vacation Island
After the war broke out in February last year, it was not known where Isinbayeva lived. The Spanish newspaper claimed last week El Digital Sur That pole vaulting legend lived in Tenerife with his family. The site claims that she has been staying on the holiday island since May 30.
Avisa published photos that supposedly show Isinbajeva walking along the streets of Arona – a place in the southwestern part of the island.
After media reports in Spain, Svetlana Zorovam, a representative of the Russian State Duma, could neither deny nor confirm whether Isinbayeva remained on the island.
– I don’t know if this is true or not. Much has been written about Elena. Maybe you just went there on vacation for a few weeks. It’s summer after all. But as soon as people in another country see her, they think she has left Russia forever. Until I hear it in person, I choose not to believe it,” Zorova told Champions.
