We think it’s been great to catch up on all that VGTV has to offer in recent years, and when they got in touch with him we couldn’t turn it down. It’s a place where there is a short path from idea to production which is very inspiring to work with. We are very much looking forward to getting started in earnest, Bård Ylvisåker says in the press release.

– Now we have the opportunity to work with two of the most fun and intelligent people in the TV industry.
The brothers are now saying goodbye to traditional linear television. One of the reasons has to be to reach young people and on social media.
– Besides, they say we’ll get such a free subscription to VG + that 99 kr per month is only saved there, so this should not be underestimated, says Vegard Ylvisåker.
The Ylvis brothers have been making jokes and entertaining on TVNorge and Dplay for a number of years. The duo led five seasons of the talk show “Tonight with Ylvis”, which was closely related to the first season of “The King Commands” and in the humorous series “Ylvis on the Island with Calle and Magnus”.
The duo is also famous for the song “The Fox” which went worldwide in 2013.
